Dick, Neil & myself headed out to Ringwood on what looked like a pretty dodge day. It was pouring down with rain a hour or so before we left home. Thankfully the day cleared up & we only got wet on the last hole.
This is a lovely course with wide open fairways & some tricky holes. The course was in good nick & the greens were pretty friendly thanks to the earlier rain. One of the great things about this course is the multiple tee positions on a lot of holes, it could be a different course each time play.
One thing worthy of mentioning. Neil absolutely clobbed a nine iron on the back half & hit it 150 metres. I’ve never seen a nine hit that far ever.
We didn’t take any new photos on this round but if you wanted to see the old ones check them out here
I think you forgot to mention you 295m to 300m drive on the back 9 also. It ended up being a good day for golf, no sun to blind you and a slight breeze. With the way I was hooking them I needed those wide fairways to.
You just can’t bring yourself to say that I drove the ball 300 metres can you 😉
