I’ve booked a group of 4 for 11 o’clock on Saturday the 16th of September at Bundoora. Let me know if you want to join us, drop me an email of leave a comment. If you’re like me you’ll want to get in a little practise before the trip away 😉
Neil was dissapointed on missing out on Keilor last time so we are going back on Thursday. This time I will remember my camera. If you want to come let me know. You should know the drill by now, send me an email or leave a comment. One thing I forgot to mention in the original post was the cost. It is only $14.50 for all day golf. You can’t go wrong.
Time to put your hand up if your coming on the yearly trip. The date for this little adventure is Friday the 6th of October, leaving in the afternoon, Saturday the 7th & Sunday the 8th. I emailed Rich River a couple of times & got no response so we decided to play Tocumwal Golf Course instead. You can have a look at the course here. We have booked the two rounds for the two courses already, which is a good thing as they are nearly booked out already. To play a different course each day we had to take an early morning tee time both days. Shane has been kind enough to offer us his caravan at the Cobram caravan park & Daryl has also offered to bring his camper trailer along as well. This will reduce the cost of the weekend a fair bit, thank guys.
We need to find out who’s coming so we can arrange the transport & the sleeping arrangements, so please, email me or leave a comment here if you want to come. Also send me an email of leave a comment if you have an questions about the trip. My email address is Cary@golfinmelbourne.com hope to hear from you soon.
Cheers
Ian has picked & booked us into Craigieburn on Sunday the 13th of August. After the Lancefield round fell through we set Ian the task of picking a course to play. This is Stans home course but I have a feeling he wont be able to make it as he will be working which is shame. Tee off is for 11:15 so you can still get your beauty sleep Neil (god knows you need it). Ian has booked us 2 groups with one of them full already, if you want to join us get in quick. Send me an email or leave a comment if you’re up for it.
There are a couple of photos of the course here
Stuart has come up with the idea of have a four ball best ball comp amoungst ourselves. I have booked two groups (8 people) at Whittlesea for Sunday the 16th of July. If you want to join us, leave a comment on this posting or send me an email Cary@golfinmelbourne.com You don’t need to have a partner we can fix you up with someone, but feel free to bring along a friend. I’ll need to know by Friday if you want to join us. We have two teams at the moment so get in quick.
Cheers

It’s time we started to get some input in regards to our end of year trip. What we are looking for is ideas on where to go & when people are available. At this stage we have pencilled in the end of September but this can change if more people can’t make it than can.
As for where to go we have a had a couple of suggestions already. One idea is to go back to Cobram but this time play the two course at Tocumwal.
A second idea is to go to Echuca & play the two Rich River courses.
The third idea is go up to Bright & play a couple of the courses up there.
We need your input on this people so please either leave a comment on this posting or send me an email.
Aussie golfer Rod Pampling has just won the Bay Hill Invertational!! A double boogy on the 13th saw him drop back to a tie for the lead with Englishman Greg Owen. Owen stumbled at the end finishing double boogy, boogy for Pampling to win the tournament by 1 shot. Pampling finished the last 2 holes boogy, par, but it was enough for him to secure his second tour win, his first being the The International in 2004.
